That's why i bought my groceries online yesterday. No direct contact. I feel like I'm coming down with something & I don't want to spread it.

I had to have a long talk with my mother yesterday about the virus. She's elderly with all sorts of health issues and can't quite understand why she needs to take precautions for her own good. She likes to "go" all the time and my handicapped nephew that lives with her is involved in a ton of activities that she takes him to because he doesn't like to stay put either. I worry about both of them.

I don't know how much headway I made with her, it was a frustrating conversation for sure.

I can imagine, especially if she’s as stubborn about going out as I am!!

I tried to order Folgers coffee from Sam’s Club and it must be a hot item. It’s not giving me the option to ship but I can pick it up in the store. I came done with a cold yesterday.

Doggone it, you can’t get sick either!!! I forbid it!!

I've been messing around with a cold here too DMC. Since I have plenty of coffee and we both have colds, you can come over for a cup any time.
(As long as I get a bowl of that great looking soup you made.)

I think I told you all that Katie tried out for the school play, but she said she’d be happy even working on scenery. Well, she got a speaking part in Kamp Krazy.....she’ll play Mrs. Thistlemist, the owner of the Kamp. She’s so excited!

husband took me out, about 30 miles or so down the road to a little flea market( at most eight vendors), little but i sometimes find goodies this time i found a couple of daylilies and a rose bush, none blooming but something to look forward to seeing, and one of the jars that have the latch top lid and at a roadside set up found another jar that i can put leftover soup into for the fridge. had dinner out and on the way home husband stopped by a tree that was blooming and picked me a couple of limbs full of blooms, going to try to start them, really pretty( i know, we broke the law picking wild flowers)

yes, that works for me, vegetable beef is one of my all time favorites when at home theres a little hole in the wall restaurant that makes their own, i love it and always order it, the lady who perfected the recipe is no longer here but her sister took over and she has the recipe, its not the same as regular veggie beef, been trying for years to figure the recipe out
