The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

morning sean :frow
yes, i am, you?
its acting like spring here, got up in lower 80's here yesterday, just gorgeous and altho i haven't caught a fish yet, i did manage to catch a turtle, i had to let him have the hook tho i assume the hook will rot out or he will use his front foot to remove it:fl
you just get home from work or did you take a few days off?
It is spring here, 72°F this morning and has been 85- 87°F the last 3 days. Should have made turtle soup! unless it was a Red Eared Slider?
Nope, no work this weekend...other than yard work. :( going to try and get some flowers in the ground today! :) my pens look so desolate without them around the pens.

How many do you have at one time? My sister gets a lot where she’s at. She gets bluebirds also, in town.

Never counted the little flyers, but it hasn’t been unusual to have to keep 11 feeders going regularly.

Good morning Sharron, RJ, NFC, DMC, everyone. Proof that the dogs share my half of the bed at night and hubs gets a full half to get comfy. I'm the one to snuggle with I guess. Didn't move at all once I managed to get in there.

I don’t know why it is, but even with our normal sized dogs I’ve just never been able to tolerate bed sharing with them. Nope. They have their beds, I have mine! And letting Fee in our bed would mean Ken and I would have to find other places to sleep!
Morning Sean, hoping for a good day-bread making and going to our grand daughters 4th birthday party :D haven't seen her\them since Christmas.

How are you doing lately, I seem to miss you out here 🙂

Tell her Happy Birthday from me! Four years old.....doesn’t take long, does it?

Okay, Ken’s impatiently waiting for me to get my jacket on so we can get out of here. Gotta drive to Thermopolis this morning to pick up the puppies. We’re taking Fee with us so she can meet them while they’re safely crated, and that gives her two hours to get used to them. Wish us luck!

We will and Thank you 😊

Have a safe drive and fingers crossed all goes well :fl I don't believe I saw what kind of puppies your getting.

Good morning everyone. :frow No breakfast at Cracker Barrel this morning just too many people from too many different places. May go to the steak house this afternoon if it is not too busy - local folks mostly. Will go to the park with the Princess to make sure she gets in her 10,000 steps. :gig

Morning :frow Thanks :love Todd is a wild and crazy boy 😁

spring break starts on the 23rd, so they added the week in front so the can do deep cleaning I would assume and hope families do as well.

that is a question everyone is wondering? I know I can't afford it -some of the family are going to have issues for sure 😞
I hope it doesn't last long. I read on our district website that they're doung a deep cleaning while the kids are off for break. My grandson wanted to play with his friends yesterday and they weren't allowed outside. I understand the concern, but they've been in the same classroom together so...I dunno.

I would normally agree with you. The thing is, I had a small dog that slept on the bed when we got Frank. We couldn't make him sleep on the floor alone and we didn't think he'd end up being 70 lbs. He ended up being 1 of 2 very large boys in his litter.

kin to the red ear but no red ear daddy always said they weren't good to eat and he would have known, we ate a lot of turtles while i was growing up not to mention everything else , but not coons or possums he always made sure we had a pot of beans and self rising flour for biscuits so we didn't have to eat those two :lau (he did eat a coon one time when he was drunk)
