Our internet runs through my mobile phone (it regularly has 4 devices hotspotting off it) so the fact that poor thing hasn't been turned off in awhile may have something to do with it. The internet can be a bit patchy at times out here in the country but it's a lot cheaper than putting in a land line connection and paying for rural broadband.

That is true in a lot of places here too
