Don't go holding your breath - sounds like I could still be in for a 3 day wait! Hatching ducks is exhausting! But one of the eggs squeaked at me when I held it to my ear this morning. I need to top up the water before they start pipping externally.

I got my bedroom done. I did laundry all day yesterday as I had the day off. I’m trying to get pumped up to do the other room today. I don’t enjoy painting

Thank you Ron! I’m working on my other room right now. I’m waiting for the first coat to dry and I’ll have to do another. This room is bright!

After several years of trying to find just the right thing to send my mom for Mothers' Day, I think I did it!

She loves flowers. But not purple flowers, purple was my sister's favorite color so all her funeral flowers were purple and that just makes mom sad. And she's killed every non-purple flowering plant I've sent her and that makes her sad. I've sent her fruit before but this year she doesn't want anything edible because she thinks she'll get the virus from it...which would make her sick AND sad.

But this year I found pink & white lilies in a metal milk can (she grew up on a dairy farm)! And they'll get to her on May 10th, right before Mothers' Day!

Yay and whew!

Good for you on trying to catch up! I've given up on getting them all, I just catch the ones I can. Welcoming all of the newbies is a full time job any more!

I wonder when things will slow down?

I've had to give something up to keep up. I haven't looked at my watched/unread other than my regular threads, for a few days. Looked yesterday and I have 8 pages of unread. These days I'm thrilled if I can start on page two instead of page three for new greets.
