Daughter made a Mother's day visit and brought flowers and subs. She is going to dye the Princess's hair. saves me from screwing up.

This is weird. Just as I was typing this I heard her tell her mother, "What could go wrong other than your hair falling out." Yep, that's my girl.

Sour - I really hope that your dahlias make it. They're my favourite flower. They don't do well here though. Zone 3 is just a bit too harsh for them.

Bummer. Of course you CAN put one in even if it isn't on a wall but it is a lot harder and more expensive. Pretty much not done unless the kitchen is getting remodeled.

Wind is whipping pretty good. Think that might cause physical injury. If they freeze out, there will still be the pansies. All will be replaced in a month or so when things warm up.

The wind will help lessen frost damage. Here in the orchards they run big wind mills over the trees on cold mornings with now wind to protect the buds

If the old one is really not working right. They are expensive and as the old saying goes "They don't make them like they used to". New ones don't have a long expected life.

Replacing the cheap oven installed when the house was built with a nice convection gas oven was a very good thing to do!

There a lot of things that should be replaced around a house at regular intervals, Central heat and air every 15 to 20 years, Fridges, Washer and dryer.

I also replaced the dish washer and it actually cleans dishes!

Of course I do appliances myself so I do not have to pay for installation
