The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

we have a apricot, apples, cherrys , one red peach and one white peach, the white peach is one that grew up in the garden from the old peach tree that mil started, she loved white peaches so this was her favorite peach, slowly the yellow peaches died off, the red peach tree came from a friend at the cattle auction, it came from italy from her aunt i think, but its only about 6 or 7 feet yet, altho last year it did have a couple of blooms, was looking forward to tasting one, oh well, wasn't meant to be this year
when we die, jacen will probably cut them all down, hes not a fruit eater and he wants a "straight course" to mow
Do you can a lot of jellies and Jams?

Replacing the cheap oven installed when the house was built with a nice convection gas oven was a very good thing to do!

There a lot of things that should be replaced around a house at regular intervals, Central heat and air every 15 to 20 years, Fridges, Washer and dryer.

I also replaced the dish washer and it actually cleans dishes!

Of course I do appliances myself so I do not have to pay for installation
:thumbsup husband does that too, just replaced the furnace last fall but then he was a plbg, air cond and heating contractor, he replaces everything, never have to pay someone

DArn! I was hoping you could get the one inheriting into jam making to save the trees
if i ever get peaches from it i will try to start more and if i do, will share of course, i know the blood orange is a hybrid, a seller told me its a cross of a navel and a raspberry???? but husband found a seed in one he was eating when we were down in fl , i stuck it in dirt and brought it home, it sprouted!!, waiting for it to grow leaves now, also started a seed from a opal apple. i like seeing if i can start seeds
