no, its not easy , i worshiped him when growing up but husbands sister on the other hand didn't bother me a bit, she was always on husband and after mom died, she caught me in one of my moods and started, i let her have it right in the middle of walmarts and told her, as far as she was concerned, we were dead to her, leave us alone( she still sends him christmas cards and birthday cards, which i read first, if anything that would upset him, goes into the trash without him knowing

I like my brother just fine. My sisters 2 daughters...fuhgedaboutit. At least I don't have to see them but rarely, they live way down in AL.

sometimes it happens, i don't see eye to eye with the older brother, but thats his problem, the oldest brother 18 years older, got along with fine and loved him, last time i saw him, he told me i looked just like momma, him i miss

It's difficult to divorce your parents. I got rid of the worst one but the other relationship is complicated. I can't just give up.

I thought it was pretty too. But apparently my brother dropped off a fabulous meatloaf that she really liked so flowers/vase versus meatloaf? Meh.

Nothing wrong with admiring the flowers while eating the meatloaf! And the flowers will probably last a bit longer. I think you did good
