The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Morning DMC! What are you up to today? Sounds like you guys are into summer now with those high 80's temps.
Hi Debby! I’m thinking about doing laundry :D What are you doing today?
I may have to turn the air on this next week.

DH and I were just talking about turning the a/c on soon, but you guys are a bit warmer than us. I like to wait until the last minute to turn ours on.

Later this morning we're going back to Casper today, we need to get a storm door hung and do a couple of other little things. We'll be back tomorrow.

How's the reno coming along Debby?

Too slow in my opinion but DH is busy with his job now so everything takes forever. If he can just finish off the full bath and get all his "junk" (tools) out, I can get moved in this fall and we can just finish the little stuff during the winter. The 1/2 bath is ready but need to get the full bath done because showers are sort of important to me

I like to have my windows open so I really don’t want to turn the air on. Have a good day. I hope things go smoothly!

I certainly understand that. When we were doing the place in VA, I'd have to travel for work, get back home a week or two later and then try to figure out where I left off and what was next. And of course I was tired from the trip... Most of my trips involved 16 hour days.

Sounds like my DH, when the course if open he works days like that. He's done about 99.5% of the work himself and there isn't a single thing that hasn't had to be fixed or modified.

But overall, this house thing is working out for us. We originally planned on fixing it up and selling it. But with jobs being iffy and the place we live in now belonging to the company, it's good we have something that is ours to keep.
