Nope, we ran out of time for baking. I have already started getting everything ready to make them while Bob works. I forgot to bring the butter out to soften last night so now I wait, but I'll have everything else measured and ready.

Igor wants me to make those cookies! I just don't have any cornstarch right now. I might try tapioca instead.

Butter softens in 20 second in the microwave. On for 3 seconds, turn. on for three more seconds, turn. Repeat until softened. Usually does not take the entire 20 second even.

No cornstarch in these cookies and they didn't take long at all. 😁

I did end up doing that because I didn't want to wait 😉
 
I'm in isolation. Got tested yesterday. They ask a lot of questions to make sure you're eligible for the test. They need to be careful with test kits...I get it. I have several symptoms..and I'm 66 years old. Waiting for the phone call. I'm doing ok right now
