The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning Ron :frow wish it wasn't here, but oh well

We have visited places on the west coast, but never lived there. Lots of beautiful country 😊
We move into a three day heat wave today. Tomorrow is supposed to be the hottest day at 103F. Today is 99F for a high. I need to turn on the misting system for the chickens!

Ron, show me your misting system, please. My birds are hot too. I just let them free range with many water sources.

For my hot cocoa mix, I use provident pantry non-fat. The Nido made it too rich for our liking. My recipe is on the baker's thread.

:frow Good morning Alex, have a great day
Good to know, will try it in a small batch first. Worst case is I'd have to play with my recipe some and mix in some nonfat still. Darn, drinking cocoa this fall will be such a hardship!

Ugh! Try to stay cool guy. My water bill went up by $10 a month since I started making puddles every day, maybe the new washer will help mitigate some of that. 108 today then up to 111 the next 2 days. This is only June.

The misting system does not use that much water. watering the lawns does though! My water bill went up 35 dollars this month to 161.16. That is city water and includes the sewer cost

Holy Cow! I almost spit my coffee when I read that. I have a very small amount of grass but I garden a lot and the bill I paid yesterday was $86. That's sewer, water and trash pickup every week.
