The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

i take the vegetables we like, slice them up on a sheet of aluminum foil, salt and pepper, then put a big hamburger patty (seasoned) on the top and throw them into the oven at 350* for about an hour to an hour and a half , i also learned a long time ago to put them on a rimmed cookie sheet cause the juices can really make a mess only one pan(cookie sheet)

Ok, that makes sense! I was picturing something cooked in a can over a fire

I put a burger on the bottom of the tinfoil with a little season salt, sliced onions and sliced unpeeled potatoes and chunks of carrots. We have cooked it on a campfire, so good!

hi im, yes so far it hasn't been bad, i was going to go to the garden just to check things out(hoed yesterday) but got side tracked in the front yard and then came in to get something to drink and remembered i was going to make a loaf of keto bread for myself so now i'm waiting til its done baking, along with our dinner(hobo dinner)
and what did you do in the garden? have lots to "play" with?
i have mustard greens, rape(like a tender collard) and now i have more spinach that needs picked again and froze, peas are looking good, just not filled out enough and our second planting is blooming but still having to buy veggies for fresh eating
:gig you sound like me Sharron, start to do one thing and get distracted by another!
I bought a few plants Friday ao lots of getting dirty and sweaty for me today. No food growing right now, but I transplanted some oleanders to shade the west wall of my yard, moved a few things in the xeriscape garden, replaced a couple things with something else, etc. Here's a few pics. The xeriscape area is new this year so it's still a work in progress.
