I am envious of the sunshine you guys are getting over there (you can keep the heat though).
I took some photos of our chickens this morning but my photos are a little grainy and unfocused because it's another very grey day. With more rain on the way tomorrow. And it's just started raining now.
But I did get this funny photo of Peppa which pretty much sums her up (she's a bit dippy).
In the last 5 days I've got 4 lovely little bantam eggs. I still don't know who is laying but I am very grateful whoever it is.
And my little guy still fits in the palm of my hand even at 12 weeks old.
Thankfully he still hasn't crowed. I want to integrate all 4 young ones at once but the two littlies aren't quite old enough to be outside fulltime yet so all 4 chicks are still inside with us. Not sure DH would be impressed if he got woken up by a cockerel attempting to crow, so hopefully he'll stay quiet for a couple more weeks until the 2 littlest are old enough. His sister now sounds like an actual hen and she's a real chatterbox. Her name is Squeaks and she does sound like a squeaky old door.
