It’s so awesome to see Eagles making a come back. I’ve seen them in zoo’s but it’s not the same. I doubt I’ll ever get this close again.

They are huge! They follow the river here daily.

Well folks, today I finally had a chance to wade through all the hospital stuff and insurance stuff. I now know what a med flight helicopter costs out of plan and in plan.

Sue's ride to Nashville was billed at a little over $60K but with insurance discount only cost $37K. Thankfully above our deductible.

We had some Ambulance rides for the DW. They were covered by insurance but each one was in the $7000.00 range

I agree. We don't have any down here, guess we're too hot. But even though they pose a risk to our birds, I love seeing them.

I had more problems with hawks. Eagles flew over and never bothered them.

My son and I saw this one at the Reptile Gardens in SD last year. He was found injured in Nebraska and was nursed back to health and is safe now. They named him Sidney, after the town in Nebraska.

It's hard to get caught up when you get too far behind, but you'll get there.

You got me thinking about crockpot recipes the other day (was it just yesterday?). So I started looking through these and got so hungry, I had to quit. Lots of good looking ideas though, maybe there's something there that will appeal to you & Sue?
