I saw it and no flour! Thank you Debby! đź’ž

I was really skeptical when I first saw the recipe. For years I used the Betty Crocker recipe for p-nut butter cookies with flour and all the other baking ingredients. But this works, it's like a baking miracle. Plus it's the only cookie recipe I have memorized. ;)

:th I don't know how you do it IM. You live in a crockpot.

Bagels are always a good answer to what's for breakfast! Have fun with your g-daughter, tie dying sounds like a lot of fun...maybe you could share a picture of the handiwork later?

Cap, sorry about the losses. Do you know what sort of snake got in (I'm just curious is all)?

DH got a 3' long rattlesnake right outside the golf course maintenance door last week. It's been a slow summer for snakes here, usually we've seen several by now.
More like a toaster I think. A crockpot has more moisture.

I call temps like that blast furnace weather-- especially closer to Red Bluff where the air comes down for Mt. Shasta and super heats the air. It comes as a North Wind

Nope, no snake cooking here although I've tasted it in the past.

One year when my boys were young, we went to an annual rattlesnake hunt in Oklahoma. All the rattlers that don't make the grade for various categories were skinned and fried and sold for lunch. The actual taste wasn't bad, but the reek of all that frying hung a heavy stench over everything that about made me sick.

We only went that one time. Peta got wind of the event and pretty much shut it down. Plus my oldest son felt horrible for the snakes (he's a herpetologist now).

That sounds like a cool job!

Fried gator is good! I had that a few times while living in Florida. In fact, I'm not sure you're allowed to live in FL without trying gator at least once. ;)

I've always wanted to try that but haven't ever had the opportunity.

Pretty much although we only get the wind in the afternoon. It does a good job of pushing mist but it certainly isn't pleasant otherwise.
