Is this a old dairy setup for about a 35-45 head herd? Nice looking place!Yay, first sticking snow, though it won't stay unfortunately, yet, I'm excited.
Love the pics. How did you get those goats to line up for the photo. LOL Are those red bands on the far left goats horns? We do usually have snow by now but we are having a mild pre winter so far, 40's expected for a while, yucky mud, the dogs were so excited running around in it, I even shoveled a bit.
scottcaddy, the barn had the whole regular top part when we bought it but the back old foundation was falling down so my husband took it down, picture a Looney tunes episode with the barn collapsing as he runs out from it, yeah, sometimes he don't think, he barely missed getting decapitated by the power line as well. We rebuilt the top on the good half of the foundation and the back half because a rubble type of gothic garden with flowers planted in the gutters and a raised stone pond.

Guess goats and chickens have a lot in common, my hens jump into treat trays .LOLthe goats are always expecting treats, they will knock you over and trample you for a piece of bread or a tortilla. You are seeing red electrical tape, we put castration bands on their horns to dehorned them, the tape holds the band's from flying off. That particular boy has been too rambunctious with his horn usage so he and his brother are both sporting red.
