My husband and son put in a new hydrant for me today... the old one hasn't been usable for years so have been hauling water from the house for the girls...and the girls did not miss an opportunity to scratch in all that fresh dirt

Howdy! When I saw "Almost Heaven" I knew it was a fellow WVian :frow
I grew up in Fayette Co, but live in Wood Co now, and have a place in Mason Co too. Welcome aboard!

So that's an EE closest to the water pail? Pretty coloring!

I sold a few youngsters and a couple adult hens yesterday, but I've still got 60-70 birds, and more due to hatch today or tomorrow in the incubator! Plus 4 or 5 broody hens! :D

Hope he gets the water going there very soon.
Great photo - there's nothing more fun than watching those gals digging in the dirt and IMO they were trying to help get the job done :)

Hey everyone!

Couldn't get logged on this morning, computer issues. Looks like it was a very quiet day

Friday, hope you get some rest tonight and glad to hear you're having fun.

The 21 yr old was properly apologetic. Hope it lasts!

Several times a day I've been visiting the little Robins...they've almost outgrown their nest. Hope I get to see mama showing them how to fly. She sure has gotten friendly. She'll hop up to within about 2 feet of me and cheep while showing off the latest worm she's caught.

Have a good evening all!
Glad the 21 YO is improving. We also just had a second hatching of Blue Birds - but ours give us an evil eye if we even try to watch the feedings
