Are the beetles you mentioned the Japanese beetle? I just had a look around to see what creatures eat them, there are quite a few. But the problem is the things burrow into the ground .

I do hope America finds a much safer way of clearing the forest and woodland areas, especially when the weather is extremely hot and dry.

California did not have any rain. The rain stopped at northern Oregon
