I’m supposed to be working on the coop but I don’t know if I’ll get out there today. I saw the shelves starting to empty and bought a few more staples but need a place to put them. Will probably go through the pantry and small freezer today instead.

We saw that yesterday when we were shopping, it wasn't bad yet.I'm sure in the coming weeks it will get worse.

Every year I struggle with an almost defrosted bird.

This one is only 12ish lbs so if I take it out today I hope it’ll be ok.

It’s not as bad as it was earlier in the year but I picked up more flour and sugar. You know how that stuff flies off the shelves at the holidays anyway so maybe that’s why.

That was a subject of much discussion, debate and dithering. We're going to have it here at the company house as I don't have my baking/cooking stuff up there yet. Besides, DH is ready to come back for a couple days of rest.
