Holy Smokes! Right now it is simply beautiful out!! Oldest son just went pheasant hunting snd got his limit. He said they stick right out.

He did well then! Do you cook the pheasants a special way DMC?

I went outside to sow seeds in pots for the garden, threw in a load of laundry and started the dishwasher. Now I’m screwing around here on BYC when I should be doing other things

Sounds to me like you've already done enough IM...take it easy, you're making me feel like a slacker.

Guess DH isn't going to let me slack for long, we're taking down the Christmas tree (a job I really do not enjoy at all).

I usually fry them in butter and throw them in the oven with rice and cream of chicken and cheese. Excuse his grubby work clothes

I doubt you’re a slacker. Hubs is home right? I just had a piece of avocado toast with a fried egg on top. Now I’m having a second cup of coffee and throwing the ball for the dogs. Maybe that’ll recharge my batteries.

Nice! Pheasant is so good! We usually bbq and baste with oyster sauce.

I cannot get myself to eat it. I like my normal meats like chicken, beef and pork. I’m sure it’s just like chicken

I just got done painting around the top of the walls...oh how I hate that job. I have a couple spots on the ceiling to touch up since I hit it with my brush...grrr! Hubby is hoping to start laying the floor today but we’ll see.

I think it’s better than chicken. I don’t care for store chicken much, but that’s something from my childhood. No venison or elk or boar? So good!
