They are all first time parents so it's common for things to go wrong their first season. I just can't resist saving eggs though and they are doing well with the chicks I've left them with.

I think that's cool that your extras get sold to a pet shop...nice for you and nice for customers that want a pet bird.

DH and I were talking last week that so far we've been lucky with winter this year. We're waiting for the shoe to drop any time. Hopefully not in April when we're all desperate for spring!

Good job and hatching the eggs! Raising them seems to take a lot of dedication
