yes--at least those of us who have regular winter weather are prepared---those people have no snow tires, plows,etc. horrible to feel helpless!

Glad to hear you've had a good day Marie!

Mine is going fine, getting some housework done. And once in a while I step out to soak up some sunshine and see how much snow has melted

he's been on the job seekers benefit (not sure what the equivalent would be in the US)

Here it is called Unemployment Insurance. Most states require one to actually look for work (and prove they are doing so) weekly but that was suspended during Covid. Not sure when they will make people take those jobs I see advertised instead of getting a weekly check.

So when we get hit with ice and snow folks just stay home until it passes.

At least the smart people do!

It's supposed to warm up on Sunday and next week in the 50s-60s so just a few more days in lock down.

Ours will start melting in a month or so Then we'll likely get more but it won't last long.

We are maybe going to get another 3-3.5" but spread out over Fri and Sat. It was cloudy all day but we still managed to make 22 kWh from the solar panels
