Sorry for the snow Debby! Ours melted so much yesterday it’s hard to believe. By Sunday it should be just about gone.

Making a double batch of my buns did work, but next time I'll only use 3 bantam eggs (not 4) as the dough was just a bit softer and stickier than usual. I'm also glad I put the dough in my massive bowl as otherwise it would've busted out during its first rise in the fridge overnight. They froze well too.

Nice update on the buns!

Due to slight differences in errors in the ratio between water and flour, It is common to need to either add or subtract the amount of flour when doubling a bread recipe. Go by feel for the amount to use.

The same thing happens when cutting a recipe.

I just vacuumed my house. I have the second load of laundry in the dryer with 2 more to go. Hubby has a crop insurance guy he has to go talk to so I’m riding along. I have to pick up my vacuum that I left at the last lady’s house I cleaned at. It’s on the way to the insurance guy. Other then that I’m living the dream:lol: What’s on your agenda other then watching the snow fall?

DH is coming home today so I'm trying to spiffy things up around the house. And I have to shovel the driveway (after clearing off my car) so I can pull up and he can park behind me.

I'm going to try a new recipe for dinner tonight and need to get stuff prepped. The recipe is Chicken Stroganoff, hope it's good.

Good afternoon everyone. I don’t remember if I said good morning or not, but I hope you’re all having a great day! We had rain overnight, the dogs both went out in the middle of the night and came back with sprinkles on their fur. The kids are gone, hubs took Frank to get dog food and my daughter is sleeping. It’s so quiet I feel like I’m going deaf! I’m laying on the bed enjoying the silence with Abby. It might be time for a nap.
