At a standstill. We looked at flooring the other day but didn’t get it. I brought some samples home. The new entryway is as done as can be until we put flooring down, then we can finish the trim in that room. The flooring is going from the new entry thru the laundry room, kitchen, dining and other entryway. It will be a chore and one hubby is dreading so it will probably be a bit before we do it. I think this is what I’m getting.

I really like that! My son put in something similar.
We have tile to put down also. It will be the same as our entryways & will all tie in together. I'm glad that we did our tile in different projects and not all at once, it's a daunting task. We have the lower cabinets all finished & we're prepping the upper ones so we can paint them. Then we have to paint the walls, install a new window, reinstall the cabinets. We have our countertop picked out, after we have the cabinets back in they will measure & install it for us. One job I'm glad we don't have to do ourselves. Then we will install the backsplash tile. I'm sure I'm missing something!
Here is our tile. We will only be installing the 18x18 tiles, nothing complicated like our entryways. We aren't looking forward to putting in the floor tile either, the older we get the harder it is to get up and down from the floor.

I asked Igor what he was doing the other day and he said, “Thought I lost my mind but then you showed up.” Don’t even think I will let that go to waste :lol:

DH just called and said he's coming home tonight. We stand a good chance of getting more snow tomorrow and since I messed my back up with shoveling the last batch, he's coming to take care of things. Wow, how did I get so lucky? :love
