I think that tile would look great just about anywhere! I know what you mean...I'm hoping my kitchen turns out like my mind see's it. If it doesn't, I don't think I could talk my husband into redoing it...:lol:

They aren’t tiles. They are a vinyl plank. They kind of look like wood. We put them in our new upstairs bathroom and I love them. I wish I could get this color in that plank but no such luck. My husband said this is the last time we are doing these floors. I’m hoping to talk him into new carpet eventually as ours was put down in 2000 and it looks terrible. There’s been a lot of traffic over the last 20 years. I would love to have these planks through the house but hubby likes carpet.

We put new carpet in when we did the tile I shared the picture of. We have it in the LR, down the hall and in the bedrooms. I like some carpet too, but I love the tile for durability! I'll be happy for you guys when you get it all finished, sometimes you need to take a break! We're going to see our grandson for his 1st birthday next week, so we will be getting about 5 days off. Then we have a trip planned at the end of April, I hope our kitchen is finished by then!

We have carpet in all those rooms plus the dining room. I actually like my dining room carpet. It is Berber and has held up well. The rest of the house was nice plush carpet and did not hold up very well. It was twice the price of the Berber. That will be my go to next time. I like durable and easy to clean.
First birthday’s are fun. I remember planning my boys 1st Birthday parties. Have fun!! Where are you going for your vacation?
