The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I'm glad to hear that you are finding plenty of buyers for them.

The oldest and strongest definitely know how to get plenty of food! Moving them in sounds like a good idea...but a lot more work! Looking forward to some updated pictures! :)
Here are my little gremlins. I have one more cockatiel egg in the incubator that should hatch on Friday (along with a few chicken eggs for the Easter Hatch-a-long).

The lutino is on the far left and she was very thankful for some tasty food. I'd fed her the other day when I thought she was dehydrated. She's the one that's a week old so she should be bigger than she is, but she should come right.

I just love them...cute little bugs! I hope they all start to grow the way they need too, but I'm sure they will under your care! :love

I might try to join in the Easter Hatch-a-long next year, if I get my Cream Legbars. I want to breed them to my FBCM!

I so wish we had Marans in NZ. I love their dark brown eggs. And that cross would make some super gorgeous coloured eggs!

You can't get Marans there? That really stinks. :hmm Their eggs are so pretty!
There are a lot of breeds I can only admire in photos. :hit

The eggs are beautiful. Can you get Welsummers there? One of mine lays a super dark brown egg & they are beautiful hens.
Yes we do have those here. But the dark egg colouring has been lost sadly. Breeders who show don't tend to worry about egg colour or how productive the birds are.

That is very sad! There are some frizzle hens I would love to have that are only in Australia! I told my husband I needed to make a trip there to pick some up! :D
