I walked outside this morning to see why my chickens were fussing. There was a big beautiful bald eagle in the top of my tree eating what appeared to be a very tasty rabbit. I guess he got tired of me watching him, because after about 10 minutes he took his meal and flew to a stand of trees in a nearby neighbor's yard. I should've taken a picture of him, but didn't think about it until after he was gone. Man those birds are HUGE. :)

Good morning Chrissy! They are beautiful and big. They pass through our area in the spring and fall and a few hang around. We had a Golden eagle fly over our house once...biggest bird I've ever seen! Have a great day!
