The first Christmas we were married, my MIL gave me a pressure cooker, hubs gave me an Electric Wok. His youngest sister said "if that's the kind of presents you get once your married, I'm never getting married!"

The deer around my house must be an exception. They destroyed all my mums last year

I have noticed lately the deer have been eating things I have never seen them eat ever . For an example Garlic chives , Rhododendron , my garden garlic , you name it they are eating everything and anything I believe they would eat your Mums . I lost $ 500.00 worth of lily bulbs when the deer ate the plants to the ground .They were a gift to my wife.

Antelope ? Can you eat them ? If so I will pay you a visit I ran one over with my car on my way through Texas to Arizona a truck in front of me hit it first then kicked it back under my front wheels by the time it was said and done it was Buzzard hamburger .

You see the jewelweed grows along side poison ivy . Hence the cure is along side the poison .

And burdock grows near stinging nettle. The juice from the burdock leaves eases the sting of the nettle. I don't need either of them around and have been working to eradicate both.

Yes, I've used burdock for stinging nettles...it does a great job!

People do eat them. I've never tried I just enjoy watching them and seeing their babies.

Riv, I got my mower! It's a DeWalt self-propelled one that just needs charged batteries and a key to start. The batteries are charging now, I'll get to try it out in a little while.

Friend shot one and served antelope stew for lunch at the beagle club - it was horrible. Must have been a testosterone laden old buck. Even I, who will eat most anything, did not finish my bowl.
