The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I hope it would not find any indoors as well Debby! :lau

Yes we have had a few out in the garden, they seem to come in waves and also they seem to be weather rats. If the weather is quite harsh ie frozen or very wet they see to come out more. Tried the snapper traps and live ones but got nothing but the rats were obviously there. Just could not tempt them in :rant
In the end we got some bait boxes with poison in and that seems to have done the trick. The ones that were cheeky and came out during the day the other half shot with shotgun. That stops them in their tracks :yesss:
The dog has also got a couple out there, she's not as quick as she was but still has got a couple of them at night.

I guess that's something to be expected with outdoor animals and food. Our weather has cooled off too, we didn't see evidence of them before so you're right I'd say to them being driven by the weather.

So what are you doing today Kim? Been out to see Harry lately?

"Lucille" and "Tutti Fruitti"!

Happy birthday Little Richard!

"Good Golly Miss Molly"!
Not really my favorite but one among the great days of music.

Yesterday was also Walt Disney's birthday!

I believe weather plays a big factor in what they are getting up to.

Nearly 2 in the afternoon here amd I've been doing some pre Christmas cleaning this morning and I've put the tree up :D
Not got all the other decs up yet but the tree is a start at least. Got a chicken in the oven roasting for dinner, veg just starting to get going on the hob.
Been and done Harry horse too and fetched him in from the field. I'm afraid I've not ridden for a couple of weeks mainly due to the weather. The wind and rain does not make it very tempting to go I have to say!! Harry does not mind though, he likes the quiet life.

My cats have always been efficient killers....yeah living pretty much surrounded by forest...the two cats I have keep me and my couple of neighbors pretty much rodent free....
My yard cats that I have down at the horse are great!! They are very efficient killers and you rarely see any vermin at all. Barring the dead ones they bring me as presents :sick The same cannot be said for my house cats!!
