The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

My sympathies sour...sibs can be the best or the worst, there doesn't seem to be much middle ground for them.

I was the middle kid of 3...brother the oldest, sister the youngest. I got along with both of them just fine, but they couldn't stand each other.

Its strange that as siblings we are often so different. My eldest sister has no sense of humour whatsoever, but the younger of the two is ok. I've lived in Africa for so long that apart from happy birthday wishes, there's not too much else to be said (but its nice to see the younger sis when I'm in the UK).

Chris, how often do you get to go back to the UK? That has to be a long plane ride.

Hey, nothing wrong with a good looking Scot wearing a kilt!
Ah, and on a windy day......Have you ever heard the song about the Sleeping Scotsman? Little Diane could sing it when she was six, and Evan and Katie learned it and loved it at about the same age......they didn't "get" it, but they loved it!

Mmm... - me thinks you are rather partisan Debby. Next you'll be telling me you had haggis with granola this morning - oh and porridge with salt

If they gave out prizes for the best siblings on the planet, mine would win. I said it, I believe it!

I think we learn more about living in the real world from our siblings than our parents.

Blooie, I really wish that I could feel and honestly say that. Most of what I have learned about love and how to treat others has come from the Princess and friends along the way. I depend upon her to be my guide in interpersonal interactions.

"Don't know where ya been, Lad, but I see ya won first prize." Now where exactly did I put that blue ribbon?
