VW/WV I have a friend who went through the same situation that you are facing. In his case it took about four years for the company to shut down completely, and he took retirement, married a younger woman, and now she supports him. Where did I go wrong?

He had a 'not so wonderful' wife that was overdue for replacing.

I don't understand why anyone stays in an unhappy marriage....have known quite a number of folks who are miserably married.

I had an assistant at work who divorced his wife after they returned from their 25 th anniversary trip.

Said that it had been 25 years of hell, but he bought into that 'till death do us part' bit. The death that was facing him was his suicide and he chose a more suitable solution.

My mother divorced my father shortly before their 25th anniversary. Kinda hard to imagine splitting with someone after that many years. But I guess you just have to choose which bullet to bite.

I do cook, shop and i kinda handle things around the house (i.e. we have a cleaner - does that count?, oh and a caretaker)

Yes that counts - we have a cleaner too - but DH can Wash Clothes too

And he keeps my car gas tank filled
