Oh my oh my oh my oh my! We're going to be neighbors! Now, that might sound odd to someone not from around here, but in the least populated state in the nation we are all neighbors and an 8 hour drive is nothing when you drive an hour to go to Walmart!! Congrats!!!I have some big (to DH & me) news to share today...and it has nothing at all to do with penguin empanadas, dogs releasing noxious fumes or trading cards.
DH got the job in WYOMING!
Yep, we'll be leaving FL and heading northwest. A new adventure for sure![]()
Family? FAMILY????? Shoot, WV, she's got ME too, don't forget!!Thanks!
So you said you have family in Wyoming? Is his new job near them?
Nope, nope, and nope. They live out in the sage flats and don't bother eating flowers and gardens. They thrive on stuff that deer eat only if they're starving!!@N F C Congratulations and hope your FL place sells quickly![]()
So glad you will have company and help in your end of the move.
Just wondering, will the realtor use the "ready made farm" as a plus in the sale? There seems to be a lot of our New Members who have just bought property that comes with their own flock and farm animals - IMO it can be a positive note for some and a negative for others.
Antelope! I have never seen one - bet they are pesty creatures like deer for gardens and landscape flora?
Guess we can soon call you Not in Florida Chick![]()
I noticed that too!Actually Sour (good morning to you Sir) I think Sunflour has short term memory issues, as she claimed yesterday that she will not be around too much - she's zooming around BYC like a woman possessed!
Good morning, all!! Busy day today...physical therapy for Kendra this morning and then it's out to clean the coop while Ken's out of town for a few days. Some things are just easier when he ain't underfoot!! It was in the 70s yesterday and the whole week will be like that. We were even able to leave the garden hoses hook up without fear of them freezing overnight. (Um, un-read that part, Debby! Pretend you didn't even see it!)
