Not to put a damper on Kim's birthday fun but I wanted to tell you all that my flock was re-homed last night. My morning doesn't feel right. I'll need to clean out the coop but that can wait a bit, I'm not ready to go in there yet.

Have any of you had to get rid of your chickens?

Thanks WV, that would be fun, never done any hatching before.

But I'm 99.99999% sure, chickens won't be allowed where we're going. DH is going to be the General Manager of a golf course and the company is giving us a rent-free house by the course.

DH has promised me I'll be able to have them again at some point.

I hope the company is ok with a dog or cat. I could always dress them up like this:
