Any Allman Brothers fans?

Forgot to mention : this house was used for the Allman Brothers Band's first album cover 1969 - since then all of those historic homes have been renovated. ​

Before my time, I'm afraid Sunflour Are there laws governing how "old" places are renovated I wonder?

Many moons ago, I worked for our State department that also had the "historic preservation" office. I didn't work directly for that section, but I know there are strict guidelines for what qualifies and what doesn't. Long application process and procedures, etc.

Good morning!

DS and I took a short break yesterday to play a game of mini golf. It was fun (even though he did beat me by 1 point). DH is pressing me to hurry up and get out to WY. So...gotta step up the pace (if I can beg, borrow or steal more energy). Need to take a trip back to Home Depot for more packing boxes and bubble wrap. Drop off a donation to Goodwill. Stop at the bank. Return a purchase to a department store. Make another trip to the county dump. And pack odds & ends. Makes me tired just to think of it all.

DS told me yesterday he's already planning on a trip to WY next year to come see me! Guess all this work isn't scaring him off spending time together

Before your time?..... They are kind of timeless.....

Our historic houses were from the 1800's and most got renovated when the Feds offered incentives in the tax codes to help with the cost.

Doubt you would like their music, but check out the Allman Brothers on youtube and see what you think?

And so sorry you missed the bell bottoms, long hair, fun of my generation
