@N F C , glad to hear you may get a flock again.

Forgot to say...DH is already talking about setting up a small area in our backyard so I can get a few chickens again!! I almost cried in a store yesterday when I saw a bag of mealworms. How crazy is that!

New chickens! :clap

If anyone would like to see our new job site, here's a link:
http://www.sinclairgc.com/

I don't think they've updated the management info yet but DH's info will be showing up soon.

If any of you are anywhere in the area some day, stop in and say hello!

Very nice Debby :thumbsup

Whew, this altitude is going to take a bit of getting used to. Need to go take a quick nap. The company had a 100 year celebration in the town square this afternoon...free food, lots of anniversary give aways, and I got a chance to meet some people. Everyone seems very welcoming and friendly.

Talk to you all later!

Yep, the altitude will get ya....give yourself about a week. I'm so happy that you like where you moved, and I did take a minute to go look at the link you sent. Very nice - and wait until the antelope start dropping their babies - those little boogers can run!!

I love this place. I love the people, the scenery, the work ethic, and I even love the isolation.

I know I'm way behind on posts.....this incubator stuff had me a little overwhelmed, and I'm getting ready for the trip to Denver besides. Echo, happy birthday! I'm sorry I'm late with everything. Keeping the hatching thread updated and an occasional comment on the MHP thread was about all I could usually manage.

Ended up with 9 little Silkies - 5 yellow and 4 black. Katie got to watch the last two hatch and she was beyond thrilled. Still have one cooking - it's alive in there so we'll see. I'll toss up some photos as soon as I get them off my iPhone.

Good morning!

Don't have my glasses with me right now so won't try to do much but wanted to see how everyone is doing.

Blooie, congrats on the new chicks! How awesome Katie was there to see some of them pop out.

BBL!

One more note...I am having a blast! Got the pro shop pretty well organized yesterday. And I learned how to shag balls yesterday...zoomed around the whole course with my new friend the Bag
Shag picking up lost golf balls. Was able to get close to a small herd of antelope too.

Going to start on the bar/restaurant today...it's a complete disorganized mess but won't be for long.
