In my case, I take it as down-talking. Not jealousy. WVians are often thought to be uneducated, backwoods folks, that don't have any teeth, dont wear shoes, etc, etc. I'm not saying there aren't some of those folks still here, but at some point, it just gets frustrating.

Sorry, I normally laugh right along with it, because it can be funny. Today it just struck a nerve.

In that case I too, owe you an apology - was intended as gentle leg-pulling. If it's any consolation, I only poke fun at people I like. :hugs.

Good morning!

Yesterday got a bit crazy. We'd been told 25 people were going to show up for a lunch meeting but the email someone was supposed to send us with their meal orders was sent to the wrong email address...we finally got it about 15 minutes before they all showed up to eat. Thank goodness one of our contractors pitched in to help us get the food ready & served. That same group of 25 has already told us they'll be back this coming Friday. Monday we have a different group of 22 coming for lunch.

I think we're going to be busier with the food end of this deal than the golf. The full-time kitchen gal we had hired has already been dismissed...her 2nd day on the job she got totally wasted (turned out that bottle of water she'd been sipping on wasn't water). Sure makes me grateful that the few employees we do have can be counted on (even the 21-yr old is shaping up!).

Hi Debby - sounds like you are having fun n games for sure! If you are already getting repeat custom, you must be doing something right - drunken cook notwithstanding :) reckon you'll be having your own reality show soon. Hope your day goes well.
