The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning!

My 16 yr old is covering the pro shop today so we can go meet family for lunch then I'll come back with my son...can't wait to see him! I'm hoping he likes WY enough to come live out here, there are more job opportunities here than back where he is in KS (not to mention closer to me!). But whether for a visit or to stay, it will be good to see him.

DMC hope you have a good time at the wedding this weekend. Try not to let the bad recent event ruin your time.

What's everyone else up to today?

Good morning, Debby (and everyone) - sounds like you have the ideal plot - I'm sure that DS is similarly looking forward to meeting up with you again. Hope he likes WY enough to stay!

Quiet day here - Sundays always seem like a bit of a drag - dunno why

Enjoy the day

That wasn't you that got poked, was it Chris?

(Or should we just start calling you '14'?)

I've been called a heck of a lot worse, I can tell you!

Now i come to think of it - I'm more likely to have been behind the fence

So nice to have coverage at the pro shop to allow you some time with him. The job opportunities comment surprises me, with a low population - but I know nothing about WY or KS

But we live in a larger population area but for the young folks not a lot of good job openings around here. The better jobs seem to bring in folks from other areas of the country - guess it's our pitiful public school and loads of "dummies" or poorly motivated youth?

Hope he does love it and moves closer to you:)

Either an old sign/joke. So sad but our largest mental hospital in Milledgeville closed due to lack of state fundings - and all those folks were relocated to the community

. Even the really psychotic ones are now at large.
