The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning Sunflour and Debby! It's my clothes washer...bearings are shot on a 3 year old washing machine. My husband hooked up my old washing machine in the basement but i only have cold water and no softener. I've been hauling hot water from the sink for the guys really dirty clothes cuz cold water just doesn't cut it. I am grateful I do not have to go to laundromat. I do have to keep an eye on old machine cuz on certain settings the agitator sticks and also when it fills the water just runs out...i'm hoping it holds out for another 11 days

. but 21 degrees, you better get those mittens out.

Yay!! It's coming, isn't it? We have had snow here late too. A couple of years ago our last snowfall was on June 6th. And it came early for us this year - 5 to 7 inches on October 12. Welcome to Wyoming.

Speaking of snow, Jenny just got the call for Kendra's new appointments in Denver. They leave on December 18 for appointments on the 19th, 20th, and 21st and they head for home on the 22nd. How ridiculous is THAT scheduling in the dead of winter? Jenny is actually taking Katie and some of their Christmas gifts with them in case they get snowed in like they did back in March. Hello, Denver Children's Hospital - the entire length of Wyoming and into Colorado in December? Um, not all of your patients live in the Denver metro area!! And they aren't flexible with it either. Those are her checkup dates and they won't bend.

Sure....shampoo the carpets and invite your in-laws over for dinner. <sigh>

Almost made me spit my coffee!

Went to see my son at college. It was his last baseball game...colder then heck but no snow! We went out for supper and then to Menards and now on our way home. My husband got the rest of the crop out yesterday so talked him into taking an afternoon off even though he's still got tillage left the crop is taken care of

. Had the washer repair out this morning...it went down October 2nd...he ordered the parts and will be back again October 31st. I will not buy an extended warranty ever again as you have to wait so long for them to come.

Good luck with that washer! Nice that you got to see your boy. I haven't seen mine since his wedding. How'd the ballgame go? I miss baseball.

Which reminds me... where has Sour been?

snow in October?

sheesh

saw a sign down here,

"Its Fall in Texas. You know what that means?

Nothing.

It's still 90 degrees!"

Still warm here too. But that's all supposed to change tomorrow... I think...

Ouch, that is poor scheduling. Hope they don't run into too much trouble with the weather, it's just so "iffy" especially that time of year. Good idea to take a few of the gifts, just in case.
