The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yeah, they hatched yesterday - some little EE's that I'm hoping will be blue egg layers. They are an "almost Araucana" (Araucana and some kinda bantam) and BLH X. Oh and another dual purpose bird X in this pic. I got 7 from 7 hatched from the EE's, so thats good at least I'm planning on keeping a couple of cockerels to ultimately breed back to the mother.
Cute!!

NATIONAL MOUSSE DAY!!!

Blooie, glad to hear your power came back on!

DMC, we think Opie was dumped. He'd obviously been on his own for at least a few days. Poor guy was starving and so dirty. But he was friendly so at some point he'd been around people (not like a feral cat). According to the vet, he's 3 months old.

TK, is that MOUSSE like the hair gel or mousse like dessert? Makes a big difference in how I celebrate!

Your Opie is adorable. We watched a documentary on cats the other evening. More and more research being done on cats, and more understanding of their behaviors, etc. It was very interesting.
What was most shocking -- is my husband was watching it before I got home. He HATES cats... or should I say he has always HATED cats, because I think he actually wants one.

Mousse -- I read "mouse" to begin with. Any kind of mousse is better than a mouse, even a moose.
