The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Morning to you too DMC!

What are you up to today? Any more snow coming your way?

2 cleaning jobs today. I don't think we are supposed to get anything measurable yet. We had snow showers most of the day yesterday. Next week it's supposed to start getting cold so hopefully the ground will freeze as it's a sloppy mess around here. What are you up too?

Morning sunflour!

Hope the jobs are easy today.

We had snow showers yesterday too. The nighttime temps are supposed to really drop in the next couple of days into the minus numbers and more snow expected Monday.

The window guy was here all day yesterday. He'll be back today (weather permitting) to finish up. It's so amazing to have windows actually clear enough to look out, windows that open (we have new screens now too!) and to not feel the cold air blowing in around them. You really appreciate things like that when you haven't had them for a while!

Today we are putting grave 'blankets' on the Princess's parents and grandmothers graves. Then we will go to So Jersey and visit a large orchard/farmstand that sells vegetables and baked goods. Among the many purchases will be a sour cherry and apple or maybe pumpkin or for sure mincemeat pie if they have that today. 2 pies only - no more. A few apple cider donuts are a given.

I think that's nice you do the 'blankets' sour...you do that every year, right?

The trip to the farmstead sounds like a good way to spend the afternoon. Only 2 pies? However will you choose which 2?
