@N F C thought I'd show the beginning of my egg embroidery. Obviously not finished yet, but I'm liking it.
Started with simple designs, so don't laugh yet. It's easier than I thought, so later ones will be better.

Oh, this is a Serama egg! I have a duck egg ready to work on next.

@Teila I think I forgot to tell you my name is Debby. In my earlier days at BYC I was NorthFLChick but moving to WY spurred me into something less geographically dependent so changed my name to N F C (although, a few have "accidentally" slipped and changed that to KFC).

@WVduckchick I'm so impressed with your egg sewing! And on Serama eggs no less...can't wait to see the duck eggs. Are you going to use them on your Christmas tree as ornaments?

The weekend was a nice break, thanks. The duck was terrible though - it waa crucified! I spoke to the chef, who "educated " me that "white meat" should be well done - gotta laugh

. But the lamb was great, so it was fine.

Have already set my next batch - does that count to join? They should hatch by the 21st.

What can i say? Am sure the chef knew what she was saying

i did consider asking her about the cooking of grouse, quail etc, but thought better of it.
