In a moment of particularly bad judgment, I obtained some Polish, Silver laced bearded, cute as can be, no one told me they were stupid flighty and lacked the brains God gave a mosquito, you could come and take some off my hands,

I got a Polish once as the 'freebie' in a hatchery order. Cute little guy (of course he was a guy) but skittish beyond belief. And yes, sadly lacking in the brain department.

As much as I love crested birds, they're rather ditzy.... That's part of the reason I'm breeding my own line from sultans- I want smart birdies.
