Nicky I hope you are feeling better.

Not looking forward to later today; it is coming up to 7AM and it is already 77F and predicted to top at 93F … I foresee frequent trips to the garden to damp down the girls favourite spot so no-one suffers from heat stress [except me from frequent trips to the garden

Thank you! :) Yeah, a flu bug got ahold of me Friday and knocked my face in the dirt by that night. Fortunately it was one of the 48 hour stomach flu. I hate them, but at least the stomach flu doesn't linger like the regular flu does. It's nice to be able to eat something without the return to sender option immediately after. :sick

I know, TMI. :lol:
 
That's "IT" exactly Old Hen. I am a hermit and I talk to myself, or people I knew when they were living, throughout the day. Hmmm maybe I shouldn't have mentioned that. My son visited for a couple weeks and he complained "you are always talking to people who aren't here." Yeah, so what? It's too quiet in the house, don't care for radio or Tv (even if it worked.

Also talk to my plants. Not any worse than people sitting side by side and texting each other rather than speaking to them directly.
 
PS I also talk(more like threaten) computers and other appliances. Apologize to objects I accidentally knock over, and cover three small stuffed animals at night, so they won't be cold. Started with just one, my son's outgrown "lovey", and refused to toss it. But "IT" seemed lonely so was joined by another, and another."

, too funny, drumstick diva. I own a parrot which I have arguments with daily, keeps me sharp to outwit her. I also enjoy yelling at stuff just because.

Doesn't everyone talk to their plants ? I also talk to my shirts.
