Blooie thank you for tip, I will try that!  Knee is much better today and Mr Walking Stick is only being called on for long distance treks; otherwise he is making friends with the umbrellas at the front door ;)

Friday I actually got my dive certificate many years ago but being a bit of a scaredy cat and not being able to stop thinking about the many ways I could die, I have not been diving for many, many years.

Hold off on the road trip!!  No point coming now, wait until we have moved :p   PS. Suggestion for hostess gift …. SNOW! ;)

Talking of gifts ... The person who lived here before us had some sort of rock fettish :/  There are small rocks everywhere!  They manage to work themselves onto paths and hubby keeps standing on them.  I have lost count of the number of times he has been cursing and swearing about those darn rocks. 

He actually mentioned the other day that he is not going to miss the rocks. As he will probably be moving before me and I will be sending him boxes from here; one of the boxes is going to contain a jar filled with some of the rocks .. just a shame I will not be there to see his face LOL :p

Luckily hubby loves them as much as I do, especially LuLu who is his little girl .. he would find it just as hard as I would to part with them so no problems there, on that we agree :)

I love the name LuLu...why didn't I think of that. I might have to borrow that name for my next round of chickens

DMC, are the cats having a routine thing? Hope they're ok.

Have to run some errands today. A small rock hit our windshield while we were on the highway and made a crack (which is quickly growing) so need to get that fixed or replaced. The selection for the robbery trial jury is today, we may or may not have to go in at some point later today for that...we have to be there tomorrow for sure.

Other than that little bit, it's business as usual.

Just routine...last set of baby shots. Next visit will be neutering, poor guys. Spuds meowed the whole way to town and the whole way home. Opie was as laid back as usual. I felt terrible for whoever had their animal in right before me as she left crying and the pet stayed behind. I was trying to ignore the conversation but you still hear it

I thought today was the day for your hubby...hope that all goes well!! You're insurance should cover that crack shouldn't it?
 
Opie has to go in next month for his neutering. Poor guy, he has no idea what's waiting for him.

The windshield fix is covered as long as we take it back to the dealer we bought it from...that was in Cheyenne and no time to get it there before it goes really bad. There's a place in town that's reasonable so we're going there instead (a 15 min trip instead of a 2.5 hour trip).
 
Yep, poor Opie! Here if you get a cracked windshield they come to your house. I have no idea what it even costs. Didn't you get that vehicle when you moved...a cute little reddish vehicle?

Sorry to hear about the windscreen N F C but I agree that a 15min trip sounds much better than a 2.5 hour trip.
