Yep, poor Opie! Here if you get a cracked windshield they come to your house. I have no idea what it even costs. Didn't you get that vehicle when you moved...a cute little reddish vehicle?

Yes, we got the car after our other one was totaled during the robbery fiasco. Seems like most cars and trucks around here have cracked windshields.

I'll take it in Wednesday for a replacement...the crack was too big for them to just patch.

No trip to the court house today, we have to be there tomorrow at 8:30am. You guys have no idea how much I'm looking forward to this whole deal being wrapped up.

Sorry to hear about the windscreen N F C but I agree that a 15min trip sounds much better than a 2.5 hour trip.

Hey Teila! Cats were good! The vet tech said they look healthy. One weighed in at 4.44 pounds and the other 4.48 pounds. To Sir With Love is a movie I assume?

It was the major type where I would have had to go to the cities not just your locals. I don't drive outside 70 miles so don't know how that would have worked...I get panicky!

I don't think they'll be getting off too lightly. One guy already has 9 felonies against him and the other has been in some serious scrapes with the law since he was in middle school. Never know with a jury though and of course, the judge that will do the sentencing has to abide by rules that dictate how much time they do depending on what the jury comes back with.

I did jury duty once several years ago. It was pretty stressful because a mistake can make such a huge impact on someone's life. Turns out our jury did the right thing by finding that guy guilty (after it was all over the judge commended us and explained some details that weren't allowed during the trial).

We'll see what happens with this thing sometime in the next few days.
