I don't think that it is all that old of a movie, after all it was made in the late 60's (if I remember right)

You're right Scott, I looked it up and it was made in 1967. Heck, wasn't that just a day or two ago?

I've tried one of the sprays but the effect doesn't last long, maybe a day or two with our cats. So far, what's worked best for us is this 2-sided tape you can put on the upholstery where they are most likely to scratch. The tape is clear and about 2" wide and hardly shows up...the cats hate it

. I think DH found the tape at Walmart in the pet section.

I will check out that tape. I know Spuds doesn't like tape as he got nosy when I was wrapping Christmas presents...he was like a bucking bronco when he got it on his foot.

My son was the one to tip me off on the tape. He has a Siamese and said tape was the best thing that would keep that ornery thing off stuff. He also said strips of aluminum foil worked pretty well for him. Worth a try I guess.

It's 5:12 here, we have to be there at 8:30 so a little time yet. DH tries to act like this is no big deal but he was up until about 1:30 this morning, I don't want to get him up until I have to.

He's been so spacey lately. Yesterday I needed the car to go to town, I walked outside to find out he drove it to work. When he brought it back, I started off for town only to find he'd left his phone in the car and had to take it back to him.

Yeah, sure, he's cool....nothing bothering him!
