The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

We are having a glorious warm spell in the middle of February. I have been standing outside staring at my chickens, and just generally getting some warm sunlight. I'm hoping all our snow melts in the next few days so I can working on picking up all the winter dog poop off the yard.

Sounds like you've had a great day too OHLD!

Your last sentence made me laugh...I was just talking to my cousin and she's "looking forward" to the same thing, lol.

It is an odd thing to look forward to isn't it. After months of no yard work I will take what I can get.

Time to start prepping for dinner.

We still have some deer and elk meat in the freezer we got from a hunting friend. Tonight I'm making elk stir fry with all the veggies and rice.

DH has been pleasantly surprised at the dinners I've been turning out since he's been out of commission. Weird, I don't know if his surprise is a compliment or if I should be insulted

As long as he doesn't think he's off the hook once he's more mobile!

Sheesh, don't know where my head has been today...I thought I'd already posted but hadn't.

Teila, looking forward to seeing some up-to-date pictures!

When does your DH start his new job?

Reading on the deck sounds like a wonderful way to spend the afternoon DMC! Speaking of photos, it's about time we saw some new ones from you.

Glad you got the ok from the doc Blooie. Enjoy your trip!

Ready or not here they come

I'm lucky...my dog poops in the grove or the road ditch...wish I could train the chickens to do that!
