Oh, so I didn't misread your first post about his upcoming trip....then I'd bet it's up on South Pass at Atlantic City.  As far as I know it's the only one that is still commercially active, but there are several others in the state as well - I just don't know about commercial mining there.

Hope he loves this place and wants to come back.....and brings you with him!  We could all meet at Debby's Country Club for tea and crumpets!

I would love to come visit!! He had an interview on Friday with the company he'd like to get in with so crossing fingers he gets chosen but he's only 19. They said it would be a couple weeks before he'd hear anything. He has to intern somewhere so am hoping he can do that here and they'll keep him on.

Yum, I would eat that! Cats are good therapy or entertainment! Speaking of coffee....bought a new coffeepot end of December...end of January I called the company cuz it kept shutting off while brewing, they replaced it and pretty quickly, less then 2 weeks. They sent me a similar model ....this one started doing the same thing, shut off 12 times yesterday and 15 today. I called in and as soon as they review it they'll send another one out. I don't have to return them, just had to cut the cord off and email them pictures. If this one goes bad they will refund my money. So far I'm impressed with their customer service. I'm glad I kept my old pot. I need my morning coffee!!

I'm having one of "those" days.

Someone was telling everyone to not eat silkies...I ended up saying "you're not the boss of me".

A new member asked to be pointed in the right direction...it was all I could do to not post this
