I'm thinking about getting a mini Rex. The feed store here breed them and sales them for twenty bucks. Supposedly they don't get very big.

My son told me that once when he brought home a little tiny snake in a paper lunch bag (we had been to a reptile show). Darned thing grew to over 6' long, turned out it was a Burmese python. After that, I learned to read up on the things he wanted to bring home.

He actually had Rocko for about 8-9 years and only got rid of him when he had to move to Michigan for graduate school. He put a "free to good home" ad in the paper and was overwhelmed with responses. That was nice as DS was able to be picky about who Rocko went to.

Anyway, just be sure you know what to expect Nicky

<-----3 week old Mini Rex. An honest-to-goodness Mini Rex from someone who knows what they are doing won't get bigger than maybe 5 pounds at the outside.

You are so far away, otherwise I would be there today.

Well, my braided Easter egg bread is no more

I had left it on the kitchen table because it looked so cute. Went to the grocery store. Came back to find bites taken out all over it. At least the candy was untouched.

The only mystery is which of my 3 cats did it. If one of them mysteriously shows up with an upset stomach, I'm going to have a pretty good idea which one it was.

Thank goodness I took the pictures yesterday!
