The girls have taken to their coop which is good news because the cover had no chance of keeping them dry any more with the direction of the rain. Now I just hope it does not blow away with them in it. Poor girls are soaked :( I did think of putting them in the shed but then they would be scared because they have not been in there before. It is currently 1pm and we have two hours before the worse of XTC Debbie hits us and then they say it could continue until at least midnight. Because of the already water inundated soil from earlier rains plus all the rain this morning, the worry is when the stronger winds hit, trees giving way etc. I will be so pleased when this over a week from the proverbial is over.

Hey Diva I have the cats inside ... I could bring the girls inside and put them in the bathroom but as they have never been in there, it might freak them out. We are only an hour off their bed time so, as long as the coop does not blow away, they will be safe and dry on the roost
