The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Sitting in the clearing watching the wood burn. Raked and watered all the way around. Got about halfway around the big pile. More work for another day. 20170925_154615.jpg pictured is the big pile. My pile did not want to burn because i had no paper,, just cardboard. So i added bark and tiny twigs. Got her going!:yesss:

Being a Capricorn, i am more stubborn than a goat!
I'll try not to get into a verbal tussle with you!

What next...you're going to tell us GA is known for peaches?
I went to Atlanta on a business trip many years ago. I swear every other street had "Peach" in the name. It was also the first (and last) time I had heard/seen cicadas.

Kansas has a famous song everyone knows,
Without cheating by using Google, it wouldn't be "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" would it? That is the only song I relate to Kansas.

That's just not fair, is it? Kansas has a famous song everyone knows, Georgia gets a terrific song, and nobody even knows Wyoming's song or how it goes. Poor Wyoming. :(

Probably no one knows because there are so few people that live here...only about 585,500 according to the figures I've seen. "The state is the tenth largest by area, the least populous and the second least densely populated state in the country."

In other words, we're a big house but there's no one home. Most people I've met here like it this way.

The entire time I was growing up in KS, out-of-staters always asked the same questions...is your dog's name Toto, do you know the Munchkins, are you Dorothy, do you know any witches, do you have a yellow brick road, etc. :sick

That movie eclipsed anything else related to the real Kansas and it used to annoy me when I was a kid (now I think it's kind of funny). People!
